Welcome to our beginner’s guide on “3 Tips for Phantom in Valorant.”
Valorant is a first-person tactical shooter with a wide range of weapons. In this article, we have three tips for you about the Phantom.
Phantom is a fully automatic rifle available for purchase for 2900 credits.
Phantom is known for its ease of use and its fire rate. The Phantom is especially deadly at close-to-medium range, once you learn how to use it.
3 Tips for Phantom
Spray/Recoil control:
Spraying with the Phantom is relatively easy when compared to the Vandal.
The recoil pattern of a Phantom is mostly consistent and pretty easy to learn.
Practice the recoil pattern in the range. There is a scenario in the range especially dedicated to the recoil pattern.
At close to medium range, you can commit to spraying with the Phantom. Sometimes it is better to spray rather than wait for the recoil to reset.
Spraying is not efficient at long ranges, so learn how to burst and tap fire.
Try holding closer angles when using the Phantom, this rifle has the ability to one-shot the enemy with a headshot only at close range.
You can try to run and gun with the Phantom at close range, this is not an efficient way to shoot in Valorant, but sometimes it will prove to be useful.

Spam/Spray through smokes:
You can safely spam through the smoke while using the Phantom.
The Phantom lacks visible tracers, making it hard for the enemies to pinpoint your exact location when spamming through the smoke.
Spamming with the Phantom through smoke while using abilities like Sova’s recon dart, Cypher’s camera or Fade’s haunt that can reveal enemies’ locations will fetch you some of the easiest kills.

Beginner-friendly weapon:
The Phantom is a much easier weapon to learn when compared to its counterpart, the Vandal.
The recoil pattern of the Phantom is fairly easy to learn, making it a perfect choice for beginners.
If you are new to Valorant, we recommend you start learning the game with a Phantom. You can slowly switch to the Vandal or stick with the Phantom. The choice depends on your play style.
