Hello Summoner, and welcome to the Dragonslayer skin line. This set of skins come from the Dragon World universe which also encompasses the Dragon Trainer and Dragon Master skin lines. The humans in this world have suffered much in the hands of Dragons, however, they have found a way to fight back – kill the Dragons.
The Dragonslayer lore starts with the first Dragon invasion. These mighty beasts invaded a human city under the leadership of Dragon Knight Mordekaiser. A lot of lives were lost until one man stood to defend his people. The man was known as the first Dragonslayer – Pantheon. He killed the first dragon, ushering in the creation of the Dragonslayers.
After the people learned to craft armors and weapons from Dragon scales, they beat back the Dragons and defeated Mordekaiser. With this newfound knowledge, they didn’t wait around waiting after hearing of the second wave hundreds of years later. Even though most of the old Dragonslayers were dead, new ones arose to defend the world.
They went in search of Dragon Sorceress Zyra to destroy the Dragon nursery before she could begin another invasion.
However, not everyone wanted to kill the Dragons, some want to befriend them while some tried to tame them. The former became known as Dragon Trainers, and the latter became known as the Dragon Masters (even though they fell to Dragon influence)
The Dragonslayers
Dragonslayer Braum
Braum was one of the first Dragonslayers left when the second invasion started. The years have only made him stronger.
Skin Story
Dragonslayers first rose to battle their ancient foes hundreds of years ago, and after their victory, the land fell into a long, forgetful peace. When the dragons returned, most of the ancient warriors had passed away, leaving Braum to take up their task with only his mighty shield to defend the innocent.
Dragonslayer Diana
Diana’s armor, weapon, and skills have made her the best person to go up against Night Dragons.
Skin Story
Legends tell of a special breed of dragons ravaging the countryside who can hide under the veil of nightshade. While other dragonslayers may think twice about challenging such dangerous foes, Diana dives in headfirst—her blade and armor forged from the very remains of these ghastly draconic beasts.
Dragonslayer Jarvan IV
Jarvan IV would rather led by example than stay in the ‘safety’ of a palace.
Skin Story
All are accepted into the ranks of the dragonslayers, from the lowliest peasant to the mightiest king, for dragons would devour all equally. Jarvan IV willingly gave up the throne to join his doomed countrymen and stand against the fury of monsters reborn.
Dragonslayer Kayle
Kayle has killed so many Dragons that her appearance now looks similar to one.
Skin Story
A famous dragonslayer vanished into the distant mountains, obsessed with destroying the dragon lineage utterly. Many years later she has returned, so changed by the carnage that she has begun to resemble a dragon herself.
Dragonslayer Olaf
(See Diana)
Olaf has no choice but to keep fighting the Dragons…he needs to earn a warrior’s death after all.
Skin Story
A savage berserker from the hinterlands, Olaf sought a warrior’s death in slaying dragons. One by one, the horrid beasts fell to his axes, and rumors even tell of him consuming the heart of a dragon he beheaded. Truth is, this act has only fanned the fire of his rage, driving him to bring about the end of dragons.
Dragonslayer Pantheon
Pantheon was the first human to kill a Dragon and this act earned him the First Dragonslayer title.
Skin Story
When dragon fire consumed the world, heroes rose from the embers and cast down the beasts of legend. These warriors passed into history, then myth… until Pantheon alone remained, the last of the ancient dragonslayers, swearing upon the skies eternal revenge.
Dragonslayer Trundle
While Jarvan IV rules as a human king, Trundle rules over the trolls. No Dragon will ever harm his subjects again.
Skin Story
The king of a clan of giant trolls, Trundle is a revered dragonslayer. Blessed with the ability to command the raw power of mountain ice, he defends his realm from death and destruction. Over the ages, surviving trolls have looked up to him as their fearsome leader in this world torn asunder by dragon fire.
Dragonslayer Vayne
Since Dragons are the mightiest of monsters, Vayne decided to join the Slayers.
Skin Story
Many heeded the call of the dragonslayers as they mustered their forces, from common cutpurses to fabled monster hunters. Vayne was one such legendary recruit—for what is a dragon, if not the deadliest beast of all?
Dragonslayer Xin Zhao
Xin Zhao singlehandedly tackled Zyra to destroy the Dragon nursery she was nurturing.
Skin Story
The sorceress called a great mountain her home, and from it, reborn dragons poured endlessly into the sky. Though dragonslayers fell all around him, Xin Zhao struck into the monster’s lair, determined to end her evil once and for all.
Dragonslayer Twitch
No one knows what Twitch intends to do once he succeeds in becoming a true dragon.
Skin Story
A lesser dragon who has learned to blend in among humans… poorly. Twitch worships the true dragons and plans to one day become one himself, though he isn’t sure how just yet.
