After the release of Teamfight Tactics (TFT), Riot keeps making the game better. From insightful game balances to new and exciting content, TFT continues to guarantee loads of fun. Like that isn’t enough, Riot recently added a new mode to the game called Hyper Roll.
In TFT, Hyper Roll used to mean saving your early game gold until stage 3-1. It’s a strategy aimed at getting Tier 1 champions at level 4 so you can quickly have a 3-star champion.
However, the name now applies to the new mode featuring shorter games with a new gold mechanic.
The Hyper Roll mode is perfect for players who are not in the mood for long or drawn-out games. It is designed to ensure players still enjoy the gameplay but with a shorter duration. A Hyper Roll match lasts for about 15 minutes on average.
Now, for this mode to find this balance, it has to have certain differences to the normal mode but still retain basic similarities to it.
Before we continue, do not forget that the SenpAI LoL Desktop app is not limited to League of Legends only. It covers TFT, VALORANT, and Wild Rift too. Remember to download and let it help you get better.
Unique features of TFT Hyper Roll

The mode has a couple of features and rules that ensure that matches stay short and exciting but still competitive.
Health
In TFT Hyper Roll, everyone starts with 20 health as opposed to 100 health in the normal game mode. Each loss in the first four stages cost 2 health, losses from stages 5 – 7 cost 4 health, and from stage 8 onwards, the cost is 6 health.
So, whether you lost a round heavily or narrowly, you lose the same amount of health. In summary, health loss depends on the stage of the game.
Also, unlike the normal mode, surviving champions do not deal extra damage to you or the enemy. When you are one loss away from defeat, you see an imminent death appearance on your Little Legend.
Leveling up
Another unique feature of the Hyper Roll mode is the inability of players to spend gold for level upgrades. Yes, you read that correctly, using gold to level up is not available in this mode.
This feature allows everyone to stay on the same level regardless of the amount of gold in the bank. All players automatically level up together at the start of every round. This way, you will always encounter the same number of enemy champions as yours. Cool right?

Drafting and stages
Expect to encounter a lesser number of stages in the Hyper Roll mode. Also, there is only one stage of the shared draft carousel, unlike the normal mode where there are multiple stages.
Instead of multiple stages of the shared draft, the mode has multiple stages where you get to pick an item amongst several choices.
Gold mechanics
First of all, there is no bonus income from streaks; both winning and losing. Also, in TFT Hyper Roll mode, you cannot earn extra gold from accumulating or saving gold.
However, you earn two gold from victories instead of the usual one gold.
Finally, champion re-rolls are the only thing gold can buy in this mode. So, spend away!
Rating
This does not mean there is a ranked mode for TFT Hyper Roll. However, there is a ratibg system for the mode.
All players start in Gray tier and then rise through Green, Blue and Purple tiers. The rating reflects and is based on your re-rolling and team building skill.
With this feature, you can have all the fun you want and still get to show off your rating. Awesome right?
Wrapping up
TFT Hyper Roll mode provides an atmosphere where you can kick back and relax while enjoying your favorite game.
Also, the stages where players get to choose an item among several other choices are now a part of the standard TFT game modes. Have fun.
