Hello Agents! VALORANT 1.12 Patch is live. This is a very light patch since the developers are still dealing with the outcomes of Patch 1.11
It is quite possible that VALORANT may skip the next patch to make everything consistent by the time we hit Dec 8th.
Patch 1.12 is a little lighter as we worked on fixing up bugs introduced by 1.11.

This patch brings updates to Observer mode, the social panel, and those bug fixes we mentioned. Read all about it: https://t.co/ZDpgZVxkOU pic.twitter.com/eRwLLIwxyg
Competitive Updates
Available with patch 1.12
Act Rank Badges are disabled
Act Rank Badges are disabled in-game while we investigate a potential issue where they may be causing performance hitches in-game. Your Act Rank Badge will still display in Competitive lobbies, map load in, and on the end-of-game screen. |
As QA Manager Kevin O’Brien states that his mention is an internal joke, (possibly it’s his team that will struggle with the investigation), VALORANT devs will look into it and will enable it back when everything is stable.
you love to see it when an internal VAL-team meme makes it into the patch notes with no explanation pic.twitter.com/Lyw4TgPnpH
